Established in February 2005, Alternate Railway Safeworking has taken pride in offering qualified and enthusiastic personnel for all of your Railway Safeworking needs.
Managing Director, Ian Bethune, has had over 30 year’s experience in the Operations Division of the Rail Network, acting in positions ranging from Special Class Signalman to Operations Manager of major Construction works on track. The object of Alternate Railway Safeworking is to provide a safe, controlled work environment for people and machinery engaged in carrying out works on, near or adjacent to Railway lines.
This is achieved by supplying an expert team of staff trained to meet all situation at hand, working in strict adherence to all current Rules and Operating Procedures set by the Department of Transport, also by offering all expert and technical advice its clients may require in the planning and programming of their works. Job Safety Environmental Analysis and Job Safety Method Statements cover all aspects of works to be carried out under its control. Staff are supplied to clients at very competitive rates.
